- April 12 - Pre-sequence for From Russia With Love filmed at Pinewood.
- April 22 - Shooting starts in the Saint Sophia in Istanbul, Turkey.
- April 30 - Background plates for The Orient Express sequence are filmed.
- May 8 - USA premiere of Dr. No.
- June 9 - A special 'going-away' party is held for Pedro Armendariz (Kerim Bey), who was suffering from cancer. Location: London house of Terence Young.
